Hi there! We are Obridged! Our name is pretty much a joke saying we don't really care about offensive jokes or language but to just to have fun! We will make all sorts of abridged projects and other things with this channel. That being said, we will never have a set cast for other projects. We are really excited to be starting our new projects! Our current project we need voice actors for is Eden of the East Abridged!

Once we have a set cast for Eden of the East Abridged and the script is sent out, all VAs will get together in one Skype call and dry read through the entire script. Also one of the directors will be in a one on one Skype call with

• All team members are expected to be able to schedule time for line directing in Pacific and Eastern time zone.
• Team members will be able to view and send comments/suggestions before release to the general audience.

We will make all sorts of abridged projects and other things with this channel. That being said, we will never have a set cast for other projects. We are really excited to be starting our new projects! Our current project we need voice actors for is Eden of the East Abridged!

Production Expectations
Once we have a set cast for Eden of the East Abridged and the script is sent out, all VAs will get together in one Skype call and dry read through the entire script. Also one of the directors will be in a one on one Skype call with

• VAs will have 2 weeks to record lines.
• All team members are expected to be able to schedule time for line directing in Pacific and Eastern time zone.
• Team members will be able to view and send comments/suggestions before release to the general audience.
• Attendance not required but extremely recommended. Required one on one time with either director to make sure you have the right voice.

Character Name: Juiz

• Gender: Female/undefined
• Age: unknown
• Voice Type: medium-medium low (as close to the dub as possible)
• Notes and Important Information:
  Juiz is known as concierge to 12 people known as Selisau. She is one of the most intelligent pieces of technology with the ability to change the outcome of any day from sad to happy or from happy to sad. For the abridged series however, we want her to be an over emotional lady who yells at Akira a lot. She has the potential to curse a lot and is in every to most episodes.
  

Audition lines:

• Line 1: Just because I'm a computer, doesn't mean I can't feel! (over-dramatic and whimpering)
• Line 2: Well if you're really going to be like that! (short pause) I just deleted all of your porn and replaced it with gay porn! Watcha gonna do now Akira?! Watcha gonna do now bitch?! (over-dramatic)
• Line 3: Come on! I don't wanna have to keep cleaning up your messes! Do you know how hard it is to get semen and blood out of a carpet?! (pleading)
  

Character name: Taxi-Driver

• Gender: Male
• Age: adult
• Voice Type: medium deep, deep
• Notes and Important Information:
  He is a Taxi Driver who appears only in the first episode for a short period of time. Will curse briefly.
  

Audition lines:

• Line 1: So little lady, how you enjoyin Japan so far? (Questioning)
• Line 2: Oh dear God, what is wrong with your voice?! (Disgusted)
• Line 3: This hat is actually very firmly stuck on my head! It wont come off! (psychotic)
  

Character Name: Random Pants Guy

• Gender: Male
• Age: Adult
• Voice Type: Medium
• Notes and Important Information:
  He is very enthusiastic about everything and not gay. Will curse briefly and will only be in for the first episode.
  

Audition Lines:

• Line 1: Why do I need pants when I can look at men's genitals all day?! (Overly-happy)
• Line 2: Wow! You have an abnormally large penis for an Asian male! Here, take my pants! (Enthusiastic)
• Line 3: No no no! Thank you! (Happy)
  

Character Name: Hallway Guy

• Gender: Male
• Age: Adult
• Voice Type: Medium, Medium-deep
• Notes and Important Information:
  Random person that Akira meets in the hallway. Has a few lines and is in only 1 episode.

• Line 1: Three is the only number for me. It is the absolute perfect number for me! (Normally)
• Line 2: It takes two threes to make a butterfly. Butterflies are the best! (Seductively)
• Line 3: We don't know what to put here so say whatever you think this character would say that will demonstrate your vocal talents

At times I feel like DLC is meant just to suck the money out of the consumers. As in, I feel like sometimes the DLC was meant to be IN game, but was left out so people would pay extra for it.

However, then it becomes an issue of bang for your buck. If I buy DLC for 15 dollars I want it to be 15 dollars worth of content. I don't want to feel like my money was squandered.

That is why I'm never one to buy cosmetic skins, it doesn't enhance the game for me in ANY way, so I figure my money can go elsewhere.

So for me the cosmetic skins are a non-issue, but if the DLC is supposed to be like an expansion pack. I would like it to add more to the experience than just pretty colors. So in that regard I am happy that you can buy that stuff separately.

Overall opinion for me on the topic of DLC is up in the air. I don't care much for silly hats or custom skins. I do care if I am paying 15 dollars for add on content that is supposed to be like an expansion pack, that my purchase was worth it.

Anyone else have thoughts on this? (Sorry for the convoluted mess I just finished my finals for the end of the semester so my head is in a loop.)]]>

At this time, I've completed up to the end of Season 3 of the show. I feel that over the time that I've been working on this, various aspects of my work have improved (acting ability, production value, etc.) so if some of the early episodes don't impress you much, I recommend you skip ahead. This project has evolved from something to do on a boring summer afternoon to a volume of work that I'm very proud of.

From this point on, I plan on completing Season 4, in addition to re-dubbing a few of the early episodes. I'd love to hear any critique you guys have for me. How can I get better if no one tells me I suck, right?

At this time, I've completed up to the end of Season 3 of the show. Right now, I'm playing Dragons Age: Origins. Playing that game actually made me realize I like D&D style games. Also, playing KOTOR helped me a bit with that. The tutorial about how skills worked made it seems very D&D esque, but with Star Wars characters.

So my question to you is. What do you think of BioWare and there games? And, am I the only one who holds this opinion?]]>
